Despite some real downpours during the show and the need for welly boots, the show went really well for us. Once again we met some really lovely people and shutter fans
During one particularly fierce rain storm, a really grateful chap came into our gazebo seeking refuge. We gave him wine and fed him sweets and got chatting and he revealed that he is private secretary to Prince Charles.
Of course we made sure he left with our brochure so, who knows, we could yet be;
‘West Country Shutters by Royal appointment’… I reckon Buck Palace would look great with shutters!
